what we do

AIC Health Ministries (AICHM) runs the following programs

 

1.Eye Work Project

AICHM through SIFA, and Meru North projects, with the support from The Johanniter International and CBM have a vision of ending avoidable blindness. SIFA and Meru North projects works tirelessly to restore sight and end avoidable blindness to the needy in Marsabit, Isiolo, Narok, Baringo, Turkana, Meru North and West Pokot counties in Kenya respectively.


2. Afya Bora Kwa Uzazi (ABU) Project: 

The project targets pregnant women, children and mothers of under five years. Its aim is to increase access to care of the same group in Turkana West Region through provision of expanded MCH services in AIC Lokichoggio Health Centre and its satellite dispensaries


3.Boresha Plus Project

The project aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality in Turkana County, Kenya through sustainable improvement of access to and use of high-quality and modern sexual and reproductive health services


4. Livelihood Project

The livelihood project began as a disaster response program giving relief food and medical services in Turkana County during the drought. It later transitioned into farming and agri-business project. The project is being implemented in the Lotikipi plains in Turkana county.


5.  Medical Services for Refugees

This project Ensures provision of medical services for refugees, particularly from South Sudan, at Kakuma refugee camp and at the border point in Nadapal, Kenya
